In the Polestar Pilates curriculum, Arabesque on the Reformer isn’t just about how high the leg goes—it’s a masterclass in Axial Elongation and Movement Integration.
Unlike a dance arabesque where the spine might arch, we focus on: ✨ Pelvic Stability: Keeping those headlights (ASIS) square to the carriage. ✨ Scapular Control: Pushing the footbar away to create space for the neck. ✨ Eccentric Control: Using the deep abdominals to “zip” the carriage back in.
