We just received documentation of our exhibition at the Netherlands pavilion at World Expo Osaka 2025 this summer with over 50.000 visitors 👀.

‘Make Earth Cool Again’ consists of 16 One Minutes by young Maldivians about climate change. The Maldives is the lowest-lying country in the world, with only 1% land and 99% water, making it extremely vulnerable to rising sea levels that threaten to displace its population in the near future.

In 2021, The One Minutes Jr. traveled to Malé, the capital and to Kulhuduffushi in the north for two workshops on climate change with young people, in collaboration with for COP26. Over five days, participants learned camera and directing skills, storytelling, teamwork, and creative thinking. Each created a One Minute video expressing their personal perspective on climate change.

»These videos amplify youth voices on climate urgency, using creativity and advocacy to foster global awareness and solidarity.«

PROIEZIONI D’ESTATE at casettastudio_ on 5 July, from sunset to us.
An incisive flirtation with the sensory horizon, a gasp of pleasure in the fiery red that dips into the stars.

What is it that makes us love? What enchants us in the repetitive search for our object of desire?
What communion do we desire with the Earth?

Imagine The Earth Is Your Lover, curated by Annie Sprinkle & Beth Stephens, and Fixations, curated by BUTT magazine, are two bewitching video series produced by The One Minutes.

The works on the external façade express the possibility of establishing a different relationship with the environment, based on affective and not predatory pleasure. Crossing the threshold, we enter a secret imagery, a hypnotic dimension of attraction.

PROIEZIONI D’ESTATE invites us to project our attitudes onto the stone of Casetta, just as light warms it and in the dark betrays it, just as the bodies and desires of these artists caress it.
From sunset to us, so that time can dissolve into free and authentic, q***r individualities. A continuous projection, a loop in which we lose and lose our balance for one minute at a time.

We’re excited to announce Josefin Arnell will curate a new series for us. Stay tuned for her open call: ‘Uncomfortable Encounters’!

Uncomfortable Encounters is a call for short video ideas that explore the uneasy spaces between people, places, and power, from micro tensions to painful distress.

Think: uncomfortable encounters in silly everyday situations, eerie silences, awkward uncanny miscommunications, spiritual shiverings, or social anxieties.

Or: uncomfortable encounters involving political power imbalances and moral implications that question: Who gets to feel comfortable? And at whose expense?

The work by Josefin Arnell defines a loaded visual language combining anger, desire, disgust and pleasure. Her film work extends to performance, installation, objects, poetry or drawings. She is interested in how storytelling and filmmaking can be used as a form of resistance and as socio-political activity. Through complex realities and absurd fictionalization loosely narratives are centered around characters that try to navigate in contemporary infrastructures with impossible demands. With humor she addresses how power structures affect the individual such as class issues and group dynamics.

In 2015 and 2016 she participated in the residency program at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten, Amsterdam. In 2018 she won the Theodora Niemeijer Prijs for emerging female artists in the Netherlands. In 2023 she was nominated for the art prize Prix de Rome Netherlands with a presentation at Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam.

Places where her work has been shown include: Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam; WIELS, Brussels; Cell Project Space, London; Index, Stockholm; UKS, Oslo; Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven; Frans Hals Museum, Haarlem; Athens Biennale; Auto Italia, London; Kunsthalle Münster, Rencontres Internationales, Paris/Berlin, Riga International Film Festival and IDFA International Documentary Film festival Amsterdam.

In a sold-out , we projected FIXATIONS, ’s handpicked 25 turn-ons, on the big screen—what a blast! A shoutout to Yola Camilleri and Lokin, who took the stage to share insights on how to eat pasta p***y in four steps. This was followed by the amazingly beautiful radical experimental documentary TONGUES UNTIED by filmmaker, poet, and activist Marlon T. Riggs.
