Echonance Festival

The Echonance Festival celebrates a new collaboration with the Unsounds label with the release of Descendants, a CD featuring music for four organs by Arnold Dreyblatt, performed by Lucie Nezri, Reinier van Houdt, Claudio F. Baroni and Arnold Dreyblatt.


This follows Degrees of Transparency (2025) by Gabriel Paiuk, the previous Unsounds + Echonance release, featuring commissioned works premiered at the festival, including Rhythm, Presence, Voice (2024) for piano and string quartet, and Looking for Daniel (2024) by Phil Niblock, performed by Biliana Voutchkova, Modelo62, and Scordatura.


Echonance will take place at Orgelpark on February 6, 7 and 8, 2026.

…the family is growing !!

Echonance Festival proudly presented its second collaboration with the Unsounds label, celebrated with the release of the CD Degrees of Transparency by composer Gabriel Paiuk.

The festival commissioned and premiered Rhythm, Presence, Voice (2024) for piano and string quartet, masterfully played by the Maurice Quartet and pianist Reinier van Houdt.

Robert Ashley said about ‘Automatic Writing’: “I went towards the idea of sounds having a magical function – of being able to conjure characters. It seemed to me that in a sort of psycho-physical sense, sounds can make you see things, can give you images that are quite specific.”

Unique chance to see this production in the Netherlands on February 9th at the Orgelpark.
