Dear Followers, Donors, Friends, and Family,

Since La Loba was created to give space to openness and transparency, I felt compelled to be honest about the film's process. I’ve experienced that a creative journey is not just the beautiful end picture that we encounter daily on Instagram. Such a process can be very tough. Painful also. But beautiful too. Liberating.

On October 15, 2022, we brought La Loba to life. At least that's what we thought...

After receiving the footage, this expectation unfortunately turned out to be less true. Due to a technical issue, all the material was out of focus. A complete blur. As blurry as looking through the moisture of tears over your eyes. It felt like I had to mourn over a child who was never able to see the world.

But I knew; we gotta move forward. Either way, this movie had to be made. And thanks to all the crew, the location, and especially , we finally managed to open La Loba's eyes on November 26th. This time without tears, but with lots of love, gratitude, and full of growth through all obstacles.

The edit has begun 🌟

Meghan Dobbelsteijn Bisschops (1996) is the caterer of the performance film La Loba. As a sensitive woman she feels connected to the story and she is very proud that woman are taking back ground by showing that vulnarability is also a strength. To cook for such a powerfull group of women is for her truly a blessing.

Michelle van der Plas (1997) is the gaffer of the performance film La Loba. With the lighting she wants to support the cinematic experience of anxiety by using deep contrasts between light and dark. She loves to work with the light that is already in the environment and thinks that its interesting to only add external lighting in the most natural way possible.

Francis Brinkman (2000) is the production assistent on set of the performance film La Loba. Creating something with a team of passionate women is something that makes her heart jump for joy. She is interested in seeing how personal stories through film can become universal and relatable, just like poetry.
