CHRCL - Life Drawing Sessions

We aim to create a welcoming and comfortable drawing enviroment, inviting all abilities -beginners and experts alike. We run tutored & untutored drawing classes with a live model, with the goal to teach a variety of techniques to bring to your practice when approaching figure drawing. While we do provide basic materials of pencils, charcoal and newsprint paper, we celebrate everyone’s individual style and encourage everyone to bring your own drawing materials.

Tutored sessions: Our tutored sessions offer a great opportunity to play and experiment with with a variety of alternative drawing exercises, poses and drawing times using charcoal - we provide guidance with each technique but encourage you to interpret the methods in your own way. Discussion of shared ideas and techniques throughout the tutored classes is encouraged, with time to reflect after each session, creating a supportive, open and creative environment. Perfect class for beginners that are unsure where to start, or for anyone that wants to just get back into drawing again, we want to influence the rediscovery of initial intuition, energy and sense of wonder for the way in which we see the world.

Previously taught lessons @ OKO - Cultural Melting Point in Amsterdam - We have now relocated to Surrey, England and are now taking private group bookings and collaborating with art studios and creative spaces. (New regular evening sessions yet to be arranged).
