Based in Lisbon, Portugal, Ricky Miller is probably the mildest persona of an artist much more popular in the European Schranz scene as , and sometimes as Estafermus. Ricardo Oliveira has been a steady force in the Portuguese Hard Techno scene for the past 25 years, pushing the boundaries of a sound that could well be defined by the paradigm Hard, Harder, Hardest.

Through his digital label Sounds Diabolic Records, X-Pose’ sound has extended its reach, releasing next to his own, works from international artists like , and .

A skillful turntablist with a wide musical knowledge and a certain fondness for the darkest sickest soundscapes (regardless of what persona is playing), he is sure to provide a challeging soundtrack even for the die-hardest of any hard dancefloor.
For us as Ricky Miller, he has delivered a “softer” mixset, using a pair of Reloop RP400 MK2 turntables and a Reloop K*t Battle Mixer with midi DVS mode, blending analog and digital in a selection that is promised to make you want to drop everything and just .

Our guest has been a key presence and a vital part of The Garbage Game, contributing in countless ways to the production of this project since its radio show days - but above all, he’s a prolific and fiercely talented artist with a performing career spanning two decades, backed by a monumental discography that doesn’t stop growing 📈 This set marks ‘s long-overdue solo spotlight on The Garbage Game - his very own , featuring explosive unreleased material and fresh cuts, mostly from own production and collaborations.

Still buzzing hard from the excellent night we had the past Tuesday at .fm: an invite that became a dirty Game… for 3!

Couldn’t have hoped for a better final episode and for this, we want to extend our gratitude to our guest who, after banging solo for the first 40m, accepted his fate and let his set be “disturbed” by one of the crew, - who also was totally unaware of what was in plan for that night.

Gearing up for our last episode, tonight it’s time for one of the finest selectors in Amsterdam, Atavic Language: founder of collective, he’s the ultimate turntable virtuoso - and one of the very few die-hard artists without a social media presence.

With a repertoire that spans from modern downtempo abyss-deep Techno backwards to the most genuinely old-school banging gems that feel like more, interpersed by extremely hypnotic-to-trippy soundscapes, his selection is dictated by a most refined taste and extensive knowledge, both contributing to crafting a unique progression of intensity and beats.

His remarkable warm ups are where he expresses his deeper side at best but, as a true chameleon, you could easily find him closing up some illegal rave, blasting pounding rhythms as the sun comes up.

A great session the past Tuesday with our guest who brought to the Big Red Machine a mad selection of unusual bangers that just delighted us! Thank you once more for joining The Garbage Game at .fm !!

Join us the coming Tuesday for a special episode: celebrating our host’s anniversary with a guest ad-hoc: a long-time friend and a fellow Techno head with an immense knowledge in the subject, has a captivating musical history that began in the UK’s emerging rave culture of the early ’90s, when he started himself as a DJ and event organizer of the Oorpi Techno SoundSystem. For a decade, Krash contributed to shape free parties and illegal raves across the Southwest of the UK, both indoors and outdoors: Oorpi Techno were pioneers in the scene not only for their cutting edge Techno sound but also for the unique atmosphere they created, with fresh and new environments at each event, and integrating state-of-the-art computer visuals. Their events made a positive and lasting impression by incorporating the very best in Opus sound reinforcement, becoming so “Technologically Advanced” to set a standard.
Building on Oorpi’s legacy, the late naughties saw him co-found the infamous DiscoBizKids SoundSystem, a collective of underground techno & acid renegades that for another 10 years hosted free parties and festivals, bringing their distinct style of creative chaos, based on upfront, progressive and hypnotic grooves.
Over the years, Krash has performed for nearly every major techno promoter in the Southwest of the UK and has held a residency with the Off Topic crew at Jaded’s infamous After Hours parties, at Corsica Studios in London.
Since relocating to the Netherlands, Krash has shifted his focus from mixing to music production, embracing the Dutch lifestyle that has fueled his passion for over 30 years. Krash blends all his past musical experiences into his sound, spanning Ambient to Hardcore and everything in between, with his mixes and productions reflecting the unique journey that has shaped both his sound and his story.
