Thank you so much SummerWorks Festival SummerWorks for having us! ❤️
This is GPO BOX NO.211’s first Canadian premiere after touring around Europe, and we’re so happy to bring the work back to Toronto and present it at SummerWorks.
It feels especially meaningful because SummerWorks was actually the first festival we ever participated in when we founded our company 8 years ago. And now, 8 years later, we’re bringing this performance back to the same festival — but with a whole new perspective.
Since then, we’ve both studied and worked in Europe, in the Netherlands and Czech Republic, and explored new methodologies of creation that have deeply influenced the way we make work. It feels really special to bring those experiences back into our practice and share them with the SummerWorks community.
So grateful to be here, to reconnect with where we started, and to share how we’ve grown along the way. 💛
