HOW TO BECOME A BOOK: EPILOGUE - Michael Gibbs
Eva Gonggrip & June Gibbs will present their artists’ book EPILOGUE – Michael Gibbs, 2024 - a monochrome book composed of blank pages. These pages appear in a slightly grayish tone, created by mixing transparent ink with the ashes of Michael Gibbs. A blank book is inherently associated with writing, communication, and the creation of meaning. At the same time, its emptiness represents absence – a canvas of nothingness. This book can be read as a physical manifestation of the physical remains of Michael Gibbs, as his last unwritten chapter. It seeks to blur the boundary between artist and artwork, as the artist himself becomes the work that transcends death.

Blouses, dresses, and pants in subtle shades of white formed a delicate screen for a video collage by , onto which historical imagery was projected.

Soledad Senlle celebrates 36 years of fashion & art.
Thank you & for the beautiful interpretation!
To mark this moment, Marieke van Diemen has created a solemn installation with Marisol Ferradás personal items collected over 36 years of fashion agency.
Eva Gonggrijp made a biographical video, weaving photography and video fragments from 36 years of fashion and two decades of art projects such as kadS.
The poetic installation became a white screen for the projection- an ephemeral archive where time, beauty and memory dissolves.
