[Artist Updates] We are delighted to share that Nomin Zezegmaa will present her first solo exhibition in the UK.

From 10–24 October 2026, Nomin's new exhibition will be on view at St Cyprian's Church, London, as the inaugural Springboard exhibition by Bagri Foundation. Responding to the striking architecture of the church, the exhibition brings together a newly commissioned sound work, large-scale paintings, sculptures and a site-specific installation inspired by Urtiin Duu (a Mongolian Long Song that has been practiced for over 2,000 years), exploring the relationships between sound, architecture and ritual.

Congratulations to Nomin and to on the launch of this exciting new curatorial programme.

[Nex Exhibition] The opening of our new exhibition, Human Echo, was fantastic! It was warm, lively and received with great enthusiasm. Many thanks to everyone who came along!

Feel very welcome to visit us in Nijmegen, take your time with the exhibition, chat with us about the work, and afterwards explore the area - we’re surrounded by some wonderful neighbors worth discovering.

[Opening expo] This coming Friday, 4 September, our new exhibition ‘Human Echo’ opens at Pop-up Galerie Bart in Nijmegen!

‘Human Echo’ brings together works by Lawrence James Bailey, Britte Koolen and Toni van Tiel, who each explore in their own way what it means to be human and what traces we leave behind.

Come along to our drinks reception and take the opportunity to meet the artists in person and have a chat with them. We look forward to raising a glass with you all to celebrate the new exhibition. The drinks are already ccold!

[Artwork highlight] In only two weeks, Galerie Bart will be taking part in the Enter Art Fair 2026, featuring work by Cindy Bakker, Jeppe Lauge, Rotteveel Vermeer and Toni van Tiel.

And last but not least, we’d like to highlight the work of Jeppe Lauge!

Jeppe Lange (1980, DK) approaches nature as a fragmented system of images and impressions. By breaking landscapes down into small parts and rearranging them, he creates new structures that transform the familiar landscape into an abstract experience. His work thus offers an alternative way of experiencing and understanding nature. What’s more, he’s presenting new artworks at Enter Art Fair. Take a look at the photos for a sneak peek!

Today, we’re highlighting the work of Cindy Bakker!

Cindy Bakker (1989, NL) focuses on the small, often overlooked elements of everyday life. By isolating these details and translating them into a minimal yet playful visual language, she creates a shift in perception. Her work slows down the act of looking and reveals the everyday as something meaningful, allowing subtle observations to grow into visual anchors.
