BANK ruimte voor kunst en kunstenaars

BANK is een ateliercomplex aan de Haarlemmerweg in Amsterdam. BANK is een project van The Bookstore We also regularly organise exhibitions and presentations.

BANK is een project van THE BOOKSTORE FOUNDATION, een organisatie die kunstenaars in woon- en werkruimte voorziet. BANK is een ateliercomplex in het voormalige ING-pand aan de Haarlemmerweg in Amsterdam. We bieden werkruimte aan meer dan dertig getalenteerde kunstenaars en designers uit verschillende richtingen en op verschillende stadia van hun carrières. Daarnaast organiseren we regelmatig tent

oonstellingen en presentaties. Onze bar is iedere vrijdag open voor het publiek van 17.00-20.00 uur.

BANK is initiated by THE BOOKSTORE FOUNDATION, an organization that provides accommodation to creatives/artists. BANK is a studio complex in the former ING building on the Haarlemmerweg in Amsterdam. We provide working space to more than thirty talented artists and designers in a variety of disciplines and at various stages in their careers. Our bar is open to the public every Friday from 17:00-20:00.

The photos of the artist talk by poet and performer Simon Mulder... Thank you Simon!

Simon Mulder voordrachtskunstenaar, dichter, toneelschrijver hield bij Bank een voorpremière voor een lezing die hij in het kader van "Het Festijn van Tachtig" in het laatste weekend van oktober 2017 in het Tropenmuseum zal houden. Een soort inleiding op de Beweging van tachtig. Sleutel namen Jacques Perk, Willem Kloos, Lodewijk van Deijssel, Albert Verweij, Herman Gorter. Harry Gosen leidde Simon in net als in het verleden bij de poëzieavonden bij" Homeland". Het was weer een prettige avond. Foto's Johanna de Schipper en Henri Gosen.
