The countdown is on!

In just a few days, The Sketches of Piet Paris opens its doors. The presentation is coming together through the installation of more than 150 original sketches, offering a rare glimpse into the artist’s creative process.

For the first time, visitors will have the opportunity to acquire original sketches by Piet Paris at accessible prices before they return to his archive.

Today, Piet was also photographed for an upcoming newspaper feature — more on that soon. ✨

Day 1 of the installation of The Sketch Show by Piet Paris.

The pink floor is now white 🤍 the walls are taking shape, and what started as an empty gallery is slowly transforming into something extraordinary.

With every artwork placed and every detail considered, The Sketch Show is beginning to feel less like a gallery exhibition and more like a museum presentation.

From 20–28 June, step inside the sketchbook of Piet Paris and discover his original sketches, revealing his creative process in its most immediate and intimate form.

For more than 35 years, Piet Paris has been one of the Netherlands’ most celebrated illustrators and visual artists. His work exists at the intersection of fashion, art and illustration, and is renowned for its elegant lines, graphic simplicity and strong sense of character, silhouette and style.

His work is held in numerous public and private collections and has been exhibited extensively in the Netherlands and abroad.

For The Sketch Show, Piet offers a rare glimpse into his creative process. From quick observations and spontaneous ideas to refined studies, the exhibition reveals the sketches behind the finished works.
