Description: "This is a sad naked man sitting on an "Amsterdammetje". His party hat is not on his head because he has nothing to celebrate. The street is broken. The Japanese have a technique called "Kintsugi" where they repair their broken ceramics with gold to make the "imperfection" the most beautiful part. But i wanted to use this technique, that obviously hasn't worked here, to show that somethings can't be "beautifully" repaired. His colouring is purposely not colourful to portray that he is someone who doesn't want to be seen and people also don't want to see him. He is not someone we want to see in our society.

It is a taboe to talk about unusual sexual preferences and because of this the people who suffer with this problem are afraid to ask for help for fear of immediately being labelled as a pervert. I wanted to show the suffering that could be prevented if it was easier to talk about. It makes me question what is actually normal? Having no idea how many people have "abnormal" feelings compared to how many have "normal" feelings. Just look at the "Me too" saga to see that there seems to be hardly anyone left over who hasn't had something to do with a sexual problem."

Good news! NDSM Fuse offered us to prolong the exhibition after the isolation stops!
