Situated on Midosuji Boulevard, a 27-story landmark high-rise, designed by Nikken Sekkei and with a Tadao Ando supervised facade, is the home of Japan’s first W Hotel. Don’t be deceived by its simple black monolith design – inside hides a world of extravagance!

Every W hotel is designed for its specific location – with foreign designers invited to offer the fresh perspectives of an outsider. For W’s first hotel in Japan, concrete absorbed the sites, sounds, flavors and thrills of Osaka. Concrete found inspiration in both the simple and traditional, as well as the modern, obsessive and extravagant and created a design concept of extravagant simplicity - celebrating the true spirit of the city. Lensvelt supplied various pieces of furniture from its AVL Glyder collection as the AVL Glyder sofa and pouf in deep and bright colors.

Binnen onze circulaire pool verzamelen wij stoelen die zijn teruggenomen, overcompleet zijn of refurbished worden.
Elke stoel is uniek, daarom zoeken wij een fotograaf die ons kan helpen deze individueel vast te leggen.

De werkzaamheden bestaan uit:
Opstellen van de aanwezige studio-opstelling (witte achtergrond, 4 flitsers, spiegelreflexcamera)
Fotograferen van stoelen vanuit meerdere hoeken
Maken van detailshots bij eventuele beschadigingen
Vrijstaand maken van beelden (dit kan door ons of door de fotograaf zelf worden ingevuld)
Gestructureerd opslaan of uploaden van beeldmateriaal in Shopify

Wij zoeken een junior fotograaf of iemand in opleiding die op zoek is naar een leuke en lokale klus!
Bij een succesvolle samenwerking zien wij mogelijkheden om dit uit te breiden naar het ontwikkelen en fotograferen van showroomopstellingen voor social media en andere professionele doeleinden.

Hans Lensvelt () is REALLY retiring…Lensvelt Inc. is just getting started!

Yesterday, the phone didn’t stop ringing. Mailbox crashed: when is the next service of spiritual super medium Hans? Then it slowly dawned on people: it was, of course, an April Fools’ joke.

After 40 years, Hans Lensvelt is leaving, Lensvelt INC, the company he co-founded. He won’t be becoming a guru in a white robe, and there’s no AI algorithm taking his place.
What this is, is the end of an era that permanently changed the Dutch design world. Hans built a legendary brand that didn’t exist before he conceived it. He brought together top designers and artists — Marcel Wanders (), Joep Van Lieshout (), Maarten Van Severen (), Maarten Baas (.baas), STUDIO JOB (), Richard Hutten () and Stefan Scholten () — under one name. And made Lensvelt a household name across the world. With his unique charm and talent, and that extraordinary laugh, he won the hearts of the design world.

Hans, thank you for the wonderful years. Take care of yourself.

Lensvelt Inc. asked Richard Hutten () to design the most sustainable and comfortable bucket chair out there. The expectations were for Richard to design an aluminum mechanism that automatically adjusts to one’s body weight - a complex product. Nevertheless, Richard came up with a much more intelligent solution: an assembly by only using a fairing and a frame connected with four screws. The chair is made of the same plastic that car bumpers are made of. This allows for the Bucket Chair to remain infinitely flexible. Richard positioned the mounting points on the frame in such a way that the shell moves with your body. Additionally, the chair is also easy to disassemble. If the tub or frame should ever break, it is easy to replace.

W.H. Gispen Chairs have sleek lines, modern curves and a light steel frame. All chairs are sophisticated, comfortable and timeless design pieces. The Gispen collection is produced in the Netherlands using modern techniques, but retaining original design. They can be used in office, at a dining table or simply as a statement design piece. Slight differentiations in this collection adhere to the backrest, use of armrests and various colors of upholstery.

The AVL Glyder series is a complete family of products and can be situated in any space where people meet for work, relaxation, or recreation. The backrest of the sofa is dynamic, “glyding” from left to right, so the couch can be used in various positions, staying relevant in a changing interior. An optional, movable square pillow supports this concept.

The new interior embodies the celebration of love through the connotative rainbow gathering space. Aidsfonds is a special organization. The Aidsfonds employees have been creating history there for 25 years fighting against AIDS. The executive decision to relocate from the heart of the city, a symbolically thriving place for the LGBTQ community to Sloterdijk in the west, was met with mixed feelings. Whilst in ways the atmosphere of the current location would never be surpassed, there was a lot of new opportunity and celebration to be gained within the new location.

The inspirational color palette for the working environment and meeting rooms was determined together with Aidsfonds, through an extensive study on color symbolism and meaning. Colors such as orange, soft pink, blue and green are prevalent on the two floors. The choice of furniture, created in collaboration with , plays a significant role in the colorful environments and has resulted in special editions of the .baas collection.

Adyen has opened its headquarters’ doors in the former Hudson’s Bay department store in Amsterdam, designed by Amsterdam-based interior design studio . TANK designs offices that encourage encounter, involvement and cooperation. The interior design for Adyen reflects the company’s ambition of achieving every kind of connectivity: with each other, with the market, with the city and with the wider world. Lensvelt’s Sit-stand Solo office desks and TANK chairs with low contours maximize the views and offers a sense of space, connecting inside with outside on every level.
