Hello!

Last week we had the honor to perform our new show Proudly Profane at the fantastically organized Turku Impro Festival

We asked from the audience a new swear word that doesn’t exist and we were definitely given the foulest of words indeed: Flyoub (pronounced ”floob”)!

Needless to say, we had a flyoubin good times in our show and at the festival in general!

Thank you everyone who came to see us and a massive thank you to the organisers!

Hello!

Last night we had an amazingly joyous, goofy and energetic blast of a show! And WOW what an audience! We love you!

In our story we saw the adventure of Michael, Mark, Rocky and Principal Hardbutt becoming ultimate frisbee champions and saving their school from being bought by the Canadians, thus reforming the school into Ultimate Frisbee School. Sounds cool and coherent? Don’t worry, at times we didn’t know what was happening as well! We dummies! We love it! We love you!

”Ultimate, originally known as ultimate frisbee, is a non-contact team sport played with a disc flung by hand. Ultimate was developed in 1968 by Joel Silver in Maplewood, New Jersey.

The term "frisbee" is a registered trademark of the Wham-O toy company, and thus the sport is not formally called "ultimate Frisbee", though this name is still in common casual use.”

Look! We cute! 😘✌️

Okay, enough of cuteness! Now we BUSINESS!

Coming up next Wednesday on September 20th we will be playing our improvised sports movie genre show that started it all, AGAINST ALL ODDS, at the Sofia International Improv Festival! What an honor and how amazing is that! Fun!

And oh wait, there’s more!

We are also teaching some workshops! WHAT?! Yes, you read correctly! And not just your ordinary every day workshops, but the ones that are connected to our sports movie show! Neato!

Hello!

Last night we were honored & delighted to perform our new ’CHEKHOV’S TOY GUN PEW-PEW EXCELLENT SHOW!’ at the wonderful Zonnehuis Theatre in !

What a journey we went through! With the help of audience suggestions we created the last fan club house for consisting of only three middle-age-ish men and performed a monoscene in that place. Wow! Dramatic! Fun! Theatrical?? We don’t know… But! Thanks for everyone who came to see us!

Yesterday we had a lovely lunch at Haru sushi before proceeding to have a ridiculously fun rehearsals for our latest show ’CHEKHOV’S TOY GUN PEW-PEW EXCELLENT SHOW” that we will soon perform at IMPRO Amsterdam! 🤩

Doris Likes Everything - The story of an improv group

We are four spirited friends of improv who met at Finland’s International Improv Festival in Tampere 2018 and then again at the International Improv Festival of Tallinn 2018. We quickly realized all four of us have a shared interest in working our asses off for a project. And after a few rehearsals it was clear - we are like a perfect Tinder match of four!

We have nearly 30 years of combined improv experience and we are all keen on learning new skills and pushing ourselves and each other to the next level and even beyond.
