Daria Lavravo's practice is inspired by constructivism, industrial aesthetics and the visual logic of perspective, grids and geometric form. Her work balances technical rigor with artistic sensitivity, transforming architectural and geometric elements into compelling visual narratives.

His paintings invite viewers into evocative worlds where emotion, memory and imagination intertwine.

The practice of the artist centers on intricate ceramic wall works composed of thousands of hand-formed porcelain elements that create shifting effects of light, shadow, and translucency, as seen in her 'Wave' series inspired by wind moving through fields.

Galerie Mokum is currently presenting its annual Summer Exhibition, bringing together a selection of new works by several of its artists.⁠
⁠
From the refined still lifes of Qiangli Liang and the expressive animal portraits of Philine van der Vegte to the vibrant compositions of Kenny Harris and the floral compositions of Joke Frima, the exhibition offers a rich and varied overview of contemporary figurative painting.

Alongside these works, visitors can discover many more recent paintings by Galerie Mokum's artists, showcasing a diverse range of subjects and techniques.⁠

Looking back at Chris Rijk works on Rademakers Gallery's stand at the last edition of Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam. 💟

In Chris Rijk’s ceramic work, tradition and provocation come together. He combines the classical visual language of Delft blue pottery with contemporary, unconventional, and often humorous elements.

His oeuvre includes recognisable pottery shapes from the ceramic tradition - plates, vases, and flower pyramids - as well as surprising objects such as sport slippers, urinals, and buttplugs. Each piece is richly decorated with refined Delft blue motifs, in which the artist references to themes such as q***r identity, eroticism, power relations, consumerism, and popular culture.

Chris' solo exhibition, "If You Read This You Are Gay", opens at Rademakers Gallery this Friday 24 July! 👀
