Galerie Ron Mandos Founded in 1999, the last decade has seen Galerie Ron Mandos develop an ambitious exhibition space.

Over 20 years, Galerie Ron Mandos has earned its place of prominence within the Dutch art scene. First opening its doors in Rotterdam in 1999, it has since accrued a roster of over 30 artists from around the globe, becoming an integral nexus-point for artists at all stages of their career. In 2010, the gallery moved to its current location in the Amsterdam gallery district. In its pursuit of new d

evelopments within contemporary art and facilitated by its spacious venue, the gallery presents an extensive program within which new and dynamic means of representation are sought. 


The voices of an impressive assembly of established talent such as Daniel Arsham, Hans Op de Beeck, Isaac Julien, Remy Jungerman and Erwin Olaf tell poignant stories and shape the core of our public debate. The gallery’s mission is to platform artworks that embody the sophisticated relationship between artist, artwork, and society. Throughout the gallery’s program, light is shed on the unexpected and previously hidden aspects of everyday experience, taking shape in large scale, immersive installations as well as international group exhibitions.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to our booth at Art Brussels, presenting works by Levi van Veluw, Renie Spoelstra, Hans Op de Beeck, Bouke de Vries, Tomáš Libertíny, Reza Aramesh, Katinka Lampe, Ivan Grubanov, Martijn Verzijl, Inti Hernandez, and a solo presentation by Renato Nicolodi.⁠

Highlights include Van Veluw’s new clay reliefs and sculptural forms with cracked, layered surfaces; Spoelstra’s large-scale charcoal drawings built from filmed landscapes; and Op de Beeck’s sculptural works. Libertíny presents works grown in collaboration with bees, while De Vries continues his exploration of fractured ceramics through his Memory Vessels. Aramesh shows marble sculptures based on reworked archival images, and Verzijl brings narrative ceramic pieces that reframe Dutch visual culture.⁠

A special focus is dedicated to Renato Nicolodi, who presents a solo installation: a dark, immersive space in which large-scale paintings are placed directly on the floor, accompanied by sculptural elements. The presentation creates a contained architectural environment that invites a slower, more concentrated way of looking.⁠

⁠Galerie Ron Mandos is pleased to present two new exhibitions: ‘Little Ghetto Boy’ by Mounir Eddib and ‘Nikè’ by Atelier Van Lieshout. Following a period focused on photography, the gallery now introduces a new installation across the space, bringing together sculpture, painting, and large-scale works. Both presentations occupy distinct parts of the gallery, each with its own approach, materials, and visual language. The exhibitions will be on view until May 24, 2026.⁠

Mounir Eddib presents ‘Little Ghetto Boy’, his first solo exhibition in the Netherlands. Through painting, sculpture, and installation, Eddib draws from his upbringing in Genk to reflect on migration, identity, and everyday life within working-class communities.⁠
⁠
Atelier Van Lieshout presents ‘Nikè’, a new body of sculptural works that reflect on strength, failure, and the role of fate. Using industrial materials, the works take the form of structures and objects that explore systems of power, control, and survival.⁠

Galerie Ron Mandos presents the first edition of Ron Mandos Magazine, a new publication bringing together highlights from the past year, with exclusive interviews featuring Kendell Geers, Pip Greenaway, and Barbara Bos. For the first time, we bring together, across both print and digital, a curated selection of the projects, exhibitions, conversations, and moments that shaped our year. This magazine is not a complete archive, but a snapshot of past and future journeys: artists we’ve worked closely with, ideas that shaped us, and moments that continue to resonate.⁠ This first edition marks the start of a tradition. A shared space to reflect on what has been and imagine what comes next.⁠

The official launch of the first issue of Ron Mandos Magazine will take place on Friday, April 3, between 5-6 PM at the gallery in Amsterdam. The event coincides with the finissage of the current exhibition, Tender Fury. During the event, the first 50 copies will be distributed free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Afterwards, the magazine will be available for purchase at €10 (excluding shipping). All proceeds will be donated to Foundation KiKa, which funds research into childhood cancer and supports projects aimed at improving treatment, increasing survival rates, and enhancing patients’ quality of life.⁠
