I’m so grateful to have worked on this special commission for a wonderful client who trusted my vision and connected with my art style 💛
This piece was inspired by her travels to the Netherlands….
the vibrant colors, endless tulip fields, and the quiet beauty of windmills standing against the sky.

She wanted to capture that feeling, that memory, and take a piece of it home forever. It was truly an honor to bring that vision to life.

This painting came from a need for closeness.
The three red horses move toward each other without resistance or urgency…..they simply meet.
There is no background story beyond that moment.
The white space stays open and quiet, allowing the connection to be seen clearly.
The red carries weight, warmth, and instinct.

Togetherness here is not dramatic or symbolic…it is physical, necessary, and real.
Sometimes being close is enough.💛

Feeling deeply humble…
None of this is my doing — it’s His guidance, His mercy, His plan unfolding. My heart is full of gratitude. Alhamdulillah, always.

“Dreamy Amsterdam vibes in watercolor….”
“When I moved to Amsterdam, these crooked canal houses became my muse.

Each brushstroke felt like a way to make this new city feel like home …imperfect, colorful, and full of stories.
Maybe you’ve felt that too …..the beauty of starting over.
I’ve always loved the charm of those narrow, colorful canal houses ….each one with its own personality and story.
I tried to capture that cozy, reflective atmosphere in this little watercolor study.
