✨ What a thrilling opening to WORLD PRi̶d̶e̶OTEST it was last Friday.

🪧Twentyone makers, activists and collectives came together to show what is important through their own protest posters, one virus art installation by Hasret Arslan, and three amazing collaborations between The Patchwork Family x Rambler Studios, x SWARM - Dance Together on the Vibrant streets, and Jakoozidancespace x .

💬During the opening, conversations with visitors revealed that some of the information on the posters was not widely known. All the more reason, then, not to forget that Pride is not just a month of celebrations, but also a month to reflect on the causes we are still fighting for! We want to return to the Pride of the past, where solidarity and protest took centre stage.

The visitor is just as important to the exhibition as the works themselves. What cause do you stand for today? We give you two options. You’re allowed to pick one poster for free, if you keep the promise to hang them in the city, and you can buy one poster as artwork for your home for only €10.

So, what are you waiting for? Come to the exhibition and bring one message into the city with us!

🪧 As part of the public programme during the opening weekend for WORLD PRi̶d̶e̶OTEST and to raise more visibility for .nl we're collaborating with .movement. We're bringing movement, collective dance, and music by .runner into the public creating room for connection.

Last weekend we made the pop-up exhibition R U A ******? happen at , a festival for q***r content creators. curated a selection of X-***ed short films. The pop-up exhibition is supported by in conjunction with and 's current exhibition ‘Cruising Amsterdam: Public S*x in the City’.

It was steamy, hot, and a fun weekend full of inspiring, experimental and spicy art films!

For three weeks, we lost access to our account. Now that we have it back, we’re happy to be in touch with our community again and able to share our events. But returning to Instagram also feels like being stuck in a toxic relationship.

We weren’t the only ones who lost our account—many other allied activists and q***r organizations, like , , and , did too. The official account of our beloved neurodivergent house artist, Bruin Parry, is still offline.

Why exactly this all happened remains unclear: most only heard that they had violated the community guidelines. We were told there were suspicions we were involved in human trafficking. Yes, really.
One underlying motive was clear: q***rs, s*x workers, activists, and anyone who doesn’t fit Trump’s anti-woke agenda is no longer safe on Instagram.

Some allied accounts have experienced this multiple times already, and we hope it has woken everyone up: this could happen to any of us again at any moment.

For now, we’re happy to be back. A huge thanks to , and also the major media campaign helped to get our accounts back. But we are not back not because we want to stay here.

With the nearly 10,000 followers we have here, we want to build a new infrastructure where we’re no longer dependent on Meta to stay connected. How exactly? We don’t know that yet either. But my god, we are so ready to get out of this toxic relationship!

Through a series of different techniques ranging from anonymity, self-censorship, and collective collaging, we will blur lines between fantasy and reality as unreliable narrators to explore codification of data and record real and imagined cruised experiences. Together, we will craft a map of cruising fantasies, experiences, and desires, projecting the ideal space onto what is offered to us.

Michelangelo is an Italian visual artist and writer whose practice dwells in experimental publishing and printmaking. His work explores radical q***r and neurodivergent perspectives. He focuses on topics of hegemonic violence and counter-violence, alternative spaces, and hidden histories. Through techniques of fragmentation and outspoken visuals, he perverts social analysis with a q***r lens, emphasising concepts of failure and resistance.

🚨 NO LIMITS! ART CASTLE 🚨

is an Amsterdam art space that works toward an art world without borders. They bring together a wide mix of artists, from emerging and unseen makers to established artists, and like to blur the lines between art and design, exhibition and shop, day culture and nightlife. In their world, different scenes, communities and ways of experiencing art can exist side by side. It all happens in the same space in de Wallen. For ORDER they’re bringing a small booth with things from their world: handmade ceramics, colorful accessories and hats, original tattoo flash drawings, small design objects and a lot more. Maybe some make-up happening at the booth, a little glam touch-up, a tiny tiger, or something playful for kids who want a small face painting. A chill out corner with art, objects and a lot of fun attitude.
