Amsterdam Fringe Festival is more than a festival. 🩷

It’s a platform and community for artists who address unrepresented and vulnerable topics.
Together with you we’re creating a world in which we stay curious, value each other and celebrate our similarities and differences.

Whether you’re black, white, thick, thin, straight, q***r, deaf, hearing and everything in between; you are invited to Amsterdam Fringe and we hope you feel respected and accepted, especially by people who think or look differently.

If you feel unsafe or disrespected at any point, if you have seen a situation at our festival you’d like us to know, please contact us.

We’re so to let you all in in the ALL OVER THE PLACE world of Fringe ☄️🌪️ It’s gonna be an insane edition this year. The artists ready to show you what they’ve got!! They’ll be taking over so many theatres and art-spaces Sept 3 - 13th. It would be impossible to miss it!

Algorithms increasingly influence what becomes visible, and what receives funding, attention, or support. if the gates are changing, what do we need to protect, and why?
Artists, producers, programmers and cultural workers are invited to look critically at AI to find ways to keep supporting diversity, fair opportunities and good quality.

THIS YEAR WE’RE BUBBLING TOGETHER WITH Nederlands Theater Festival! 🫧 🫧 🫧

COMMON GROUNDS is an evening where movement opens the conversation. Three physically powerful performances show what we have in common in a divided world of pigeonholes.

🫟 CRI(S)P - a multisensory dance performance accessible to people with and without visual impairments. A sensory journey that explores how dance can be experienced beyond the visual.

🫟 Momentum - an inclusive dance performance about unexpected moments, choices and finding new strength. Petra Haans and Manuel Kiros Paolini explore vulnerability, connection and moving forward through an energetic duet.

🫟 Badke (remix) - Palestinian dancers together with dabke, contemporary dance, hip-hop, capoeira and circus, celebrating joy, connection, belonging and dance as powerful resistance.

COMMON GROUNDS is a collaboration between Amsterdam Fringe Festival, Meervaart and Nederlands Theater Festival. 🌪️
