A meaningful first 🎉

My new collection, “Expansion of Two Natures” is now on view at . This is my first collection since joining the stable of artists at this lovely gallery in The Hague, Netherlands.

These five paintings were created to celebrate and reflect on 10 joyful years of marriage with my beloved partner. They explore connection, balance, and the quiet ways two lives expand and evolve together.

WARMING UP ~ Not only have I gone WAY up in size (currently working on a 120 x 150 cm painting), I’ve also traded my cool ocean blues for warm terracotta, copper, burgundy, and cognac colors.

✨ SOLD ✨ here’s the magical story of how this painting found its forever home…

On day 2 of the art fair, a woman came up to me and said that she was interested in “This Gentle Knowing.”She was rushing to an appointment and needed to give it some thought. This would be her first big art purchase.

She came back on the final day and she was still in love. We spent a little time talking about the story behind the piece - that it was created after a hike I took on the island of Mallorca, when I felt like I was in the perfect place in the perfect moment. The stone shapes are a symbol of wisdom and a reminder of the beauty of imperfection. Turns out she is a fellow hiker and completely connected with my inspiration.

The piece’s calming intentions also struck a chord since she was working through a stressful time in her life.

What’s shocking is that she fell in love before she knew any of this.

It’s like she could translate the hidden language of this painting immediately. It was created for her.

I’m in awe that the universe connected the perfect person with this piece. It was truly powerful to witness.

This is the best feeling as an artist.
