✨ ¡¡What a year!!✨

2025 was an incredible year for the Music Collective Amsterdam - one we could hardly have dreamed of. So many opportunities to grow, explore, and share music together.

We opened new chapters with our first Bruckner symphony, launched our Beethoven cycle, and continued our journey through Mahler’s symphonies with the fifth.

We were grateful for inspiring collaborations with , Concertgebouw OPEN - where we made our debut in the Great Hall of the -, with “be music.” the educational program created together with the unique and , together with the wonderful . And last but not least, we were honoured to be featured on .

We closed the year with Mahler’s First Symphony - a work very close to our hearts - performed in a completely different location .wieman . ¡¡We dare to experiment!!

At the same time, we were deeply saddened to wake up to the news of the Vondelkerk fire. Our thoughts and unconditional support go out to the families living nearby and to , guardian of this historic building.

A heartfelt thank you to all the musicians, our audience, and every enthusiast who walked alongside us this past year.

We are already preparing new surprises and new works for 2026, wishing everyone a year full of dreams, inspiration, and music.

¡Double celebration at Klassiek op het Amstelveld!

Music Collective Amsterdam joins forces for the very first time with the brilliant soprano laetitiagerards 🌟.

It’s both our first collaboration together and our festival debut at klassiekophetamstelveld, a moment we can’t wait to share with you. 🥂

With “With Fire and Passion”, we’ll take you from Ravel’s sultry rhythms and De Falla’s folk songs 💃 to a Piazzolla dazzling tango.

¡Music Collective Amsterdam is verheugd om “be music.” te presenteren!

“be music.” is een interactieve familievoorstelling [vanaf 5 jaar]. Ton Meijer en MCA nemen je mee op een muzikale reis door de tijd. 🧒👧

¿Waarom is muziek een taal die iedereen begrijpt? Ton Meijer verbindt de muziek met verhalen over cultuur en geschiedenis. Van oude grottekeningen tot de moderne muziek van Terry Riley. Kinderen doen mee en worden deel van het verhaal. 🎶🎭

Je hoort muziek van bekende componisten zoals Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Wagner en Stravinsky, gespeeld door topmusici uit Amsterdam.

De voorstelling is van 14.00 tot 14.50 uur. Daarna wordt van 15.15 tot 15.45 uur Symphonie nr. 40 van Mozart gespeeld.

 ¡¡¡Music Collective Amsterdam is making its debut in the as part of Concertgebouw OPEN!!!

📅 On Saturday 6 September from 10:00 to 16:00, “Concertgebouw OPEN” is free to the public.

Wander through the building and discover music in every corner: family concerts, audio tours, a body percussion workshop for kids, and much more.

——> And at 10:30, we’ll perform Mahler’s First Symphony - including the rarely heard Blumine movement. For us, ¡THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE! And we can’t wait to share it with you. ❤️

As our 2024|2025 season wraps up, we want to thank everyone who supported the Music Collective Amsterdam this year.

With four ambitious programs, we explored symphonic music in a fresh, compact format: from our first Bruckner and a new Mahler symphony, to the launch of a Beethoven cycle and Dvořák 9 at the .

Thank you to all musicians, partners, , audiences, people behind the scenes and venues who made this season possible.

Plans for 2025|2026 are already underway. More soon! But for now, enjoy a beautiful summer, and see you next season!

Mahler’s 5th echoed through the walls of the Amstelkerk, and we hope we sparked even more passion for this unique music in every heart. 🫀
