Making The Invisible Theaters Visible

It was the 13th of March and we were just preparing to invite people to our new premises in the Center of Warsaw. Lockdown came. What did we do in this time?

We are independent theatres- in Nederland and Poland and all over the World who share the experience of MAKING THE INVISIBLE (theaters) VISIBLE after the CORONA lockdowns came.

Here and now we make the invisible visible and share our practices of participation. We exchange experiences and open comm

unication for artists and cultural workers, that have similar challenges with changing their work into online and adapting to new forms of work with their audiences. The Theater Pedagogues Association - from 2010 deals with art with the community, social theater, forms that are at the interface of theater, creative and civic education and activism. They design and implement workshops, performative actions, create original performances, invent and test interdisciplinary artistic, educational and public forms. They also write, publish and talk about pedagogy of theater, social theater, theater as a medium of meeting, dialogue, confrontation and change. They work with theaters, community centers, other non-governmental organizations, schools, universities, and local communities in Poland or abroad. Mike;'s Badhuistheater - is an International Community theater in the East part of Amsterdam for more than 30 Years. In the Circle shaped Amfitheater we make and organise projects with all groups from children to Old People. Our House Group BadhuisInternational makes 4-6 New original productions per year with a Group consisting of at least 10 different Cultures.
