TO BUY / NEW: The Lion of Venice is for sale, 70 x100cm/ 27x39inch, 2026. When in Venice I have taken a lot of snapshots of sculptures of the Lion of Venice around the city. The symbol of Venice of a powerful city. But the city is in danger due to the rising sea-level and the annual floods. My version has its wings but is without book with the words 'pax tibi, Marce evangelista meus. 'vrede zij met u marcus mijn evengelist'.
My version has toxic crimson berries at his foot, my symbol of the danger. Dark black berries that birds avoid to eat. But it can provide a beautiful red transparant color in paint.

WATER & ARTS PROJECT UPCOMING THIS YEAR IN ROME IN ITALY.
Ellen Grael Art. A solo -exhibition in the Heart of this historical BIG city. This video is a harbinger about the influence of my Art to the society and an alarm bell about climate change and rising sea-level. An unique source and the opportunity, during an upcoming Solo - exhibition, for an open dialogue with experts and water management companies or Institutes and interested audience. The Art show will take place at the Cultural Association Gallery IL Leone in the heart of Rome this year. An exhibition with my ‘The waters of Venice’ series and this video on screen.
