Niek Wagenaar's Nymphs My name is Niek Wagenaar, I am 22 years old, and I am a Contemporary dancer and starting choreographer based in Amsterdam.

I'm currently working on my first creation 'Nymphs'.

It has been a while since we updated this page, but we’ve been booked and busy. Here a big update:

Because of the support of you all and VSB fonds we completed our crowdfunding. We also got supported by AFK and Janivo stichting, and because of all of these financial prosperities we got to experience some amazing opportunities. We finished our residency at Magnezy Dance Productions with an amazing premiere, danced in the beautiful Cividale del Friuli (Italy) during Mittelyoung 2022 and had 12 shows in 6 days (!!) during Delft Fringe Festival. Missed out on all of these moments? We got selected by Mittelfest Festival to come back to their festival this summer, and the beautiful audience of Delft Fringe Festival awarded us with the golden rabbit and Dutch tour in the fall this year! So plenty opportunities to come and watch Nymphs. As an additional price we get to open the Delft Fringe Festival next year with a brand new creation and you’ll see us on all the campaign images.

For the past couple of weeks we’ve been working hard in the studio of Magnezy Dance Productions to finalize the creation of ‘Nymphs’, and we have some exciting news for you:

On the 3rd of May we will premiere in Schiedam. This will happen in Wennekerpand at 20:15, and you can buy your tickets here:
