The moment of truth. 🎀✨
Raykely had never seen this skirt before. A little while before her birthday, I secretly took her measurements. At one point she asked, “Why are you taking my measurements?” 👀 I couldn’t tell her I was making her a skirt, so I simply said, “I just want to have everyone’s measurements, in case I ever need them to make something.” 😂
She was perfectly happy with that answer and went right back to playing.
Little did she know, I was using those measurements to make her birthday surprise. 💕
I drafted the pattern, trusted my calculations and made the entire skirt without a fitting.
No fitting is No second chance.🙈
She put it on for the very first time on her birthday… and it fit🥹 That face says it all. 💕
