performances.

Sismo Stories & Performances is enriching the cultural landscape of the Netherlands by transferring to Amsterdam the most exciting international theatre productions in English. Sismo Stories & Performances is establishing an exciting new annual season bringing to Amsterdam the very best non-commercial English language theatre productions from London and elsewhere in the UK. ances supports and helps Dutch playwrights develop, enabling them to create new and captivating work that speaks to our world today. We provide mentoring, workshops and development opportunities to writers, and facilitate readings of their work-in-progress. In 2022 we plan to commission a number of playwrights to create new and original work in Dutch. We also plan to offer these and potentially other playwrights the opportunity for their plays to be translated into English and introduced to our contacts at producing theatres in the UK.
