Sometimes being part of OTC Youth Theatre provides other opportunities to act! Production house Black Box Studios paid us a visit on Saturday, giving some of our students their first professional acting gig!

They all did incredibly well putting their on-camera skills into practice: memorizing lines, hitting their marks, working together and waiting patiently on set. We're really proud of everyone and can't wait to see the finished result!

Join us this Summer! From July 14 - 18 OTC Youth Theatre has two exciting courses on offer.

Our Camp for ages 5-10 includes creating, rehearsing, and making the set and costumes for a musical, to be performed on the final day of the course for friends and family.

Our Intensive for ages 11-18 includes acting, singing and dancing workshops, theatre games, rehearsals for a musical and a performance on the final day, open to friends and family.

Work with professional actors, directors and choreographers to develop your talent and discover your potential!

Happy World Theatre Day! Theatre isn't only about performance. From directing and producing, to costume, lighting and set design, there are so many elements that make a show. All of these require creativity, organization, team work and commitment; skills that are in constant development in our classes.

Now rehearsals are underway for our 2025 musical, what better time to look back on past productions? From our humble beginnings of end of term performances back in 2020, to our full-blown annual shows from 2022 onwards, we have always been so inspired by the talent and creativity our young performers show on and off the stage.

We are delighted to be able to offer our Autumn holiday program again this year!
During the October break, young people of all ages can join our fun and creative theatre courses in Amsterdam West. Participants develop their skills and rehearse a show during the week, to be performed to friends and family on the final day. All classes and workshops are taught by professional performers.
Ages 5-10: Autumn Camp
Ages 11-18: Autumn Intensive

🌟Meet A Christmas Carol's Belinda!

🎭 13-year-old Valentina Di Mondo is a high-school student from Amstelveen, blending French, Italian, and Spanish roots. A dancer, baker, and actor, she's our rising star in theatre and music.

🎭 Liza Koppitz is French, 11-year-old, born in Skopje North Macedonia where she spent most of her early years.Liza is passionate about performing arts including drama and singing and she aspires to become an artist. She has actively participated in numerous shows and musicals and has joined the drama classes at OTC in 2023 to further develop her skills.

🎭 Elizaveta Zhelbakova, our Amsterdam-based young actor. Acting since age 7, she's in her second year of OTC acting classes, having impressed us in last year's Bugsy Malone. Elizaveta is thrilled to take on the role of Belinda in our upcoming production.

Melody McShane, our multi-talented performer from Scotland and the Netherlands, joins us in her first adult OTC production, bringing her passion for accents, creativity, and the arts to the role! 🎤🎨🧵

Lily Barbolet-Swift, makes her debut appearance in "A Christmas Carol". She loves reading, drawing, and drumming! 📚🎨🥁

Mina's stage journey began as Puck "Two" and continued with her endearing portrayal of Tiny Tim in last year's production. When she's not on stage, she's a multi-talented musician and dancer, weaving magic with piano, cello, and graceful moves around her living room.
