Being a ghostwriter is one thing… but what if you’re also expected to invent the story? 👻✍🏽

This week’s Creative Dilemma: our ghostwriter is hired to write someone else’s stories. Except lately, there are no real stories to work with. She’s expected to make them up herself, while someone else gets to put their name on them. At what point does ghostwriting turn into just… writing? And who actually owns the story then? What would you do? Drop your take below. ↓

This week’s Community News shines a light on Job Jovanovic and his film 'Overcast': a handcrafted stop-motion short that grew from a deeply personal story about loss, acceptance and the strange ways the past has of finding us again.

“When a mysterious cloud appears above Bertram's house, he's confronted with his past... and his future.” ☁️

Created alongside an incredible crew of family and friends, and made possible through the NPO 3Lab Graduation Grant, Overcast has now been selected for the Nederlands Film Festival Student Competition, where it will screen between September 25 and October 2.

Huge congratulations to Job and everyone who helped bring this tiny world to life. 🎥
