✍️ Kalligrafie Workshop – Creative Reset Club

Tijdens deze editie van de Creative Reset Club nodigen we je uit om even te vertragen en met je handen te werken. Samen gaan we doodlen, schrijven en spelen met kalligrafie.

Of je nu ervaring hebt of gewoon nieuwsgierig bent — iedereen is welkom. Het gaat niet om perfectie, maar om rust, aandacht en creativiteit.

Over de facilitator

Tahsin beoefent al ongeveer zeven jaar de kunst van kalligrafie. Voor hem is schrijven een krachtige manier om gevoelens en gedachten uit te drukken.

“Soms kunnen mensen hun gevoelens niet uitspreken, maar wel delen met mooie woorden op mooi papier.”

Naast kalligrafie houdt hij van schilderen, wandelen en voetbal spelen.

About the facilitator

Tahsin has been practicing the art of calligraphy for about seven years. For him, writing is one of the most powerful ways to express thoughts and emotions.

Besides calligraphy, he enjoys painting, walking and playing soccer.

𝐋𝐨𝐥𝐚’𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐬
Artists Müge Yilmaz (TR) and Rosa Smits (NL) invited the residents of Slotervaart to join them in imagining future animals and creatures for Amsterdam. What animals already live among us Which ones once lived in these lands? And how might the animals of our surroundings look 200 years from now - or how would you imagine them?

During five workshops, guided by Rosa, many imaginative creations came to life by painting with earth colors onto textiles. These designs will transform into a rich tapestry for LolaLieven. Some of the animals will be sculpted by Müge out of wood. The creations will decorate and support the creative and imaginative environment of LolaLieven.

Come On 𝟕 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐭 𝟏𝟓:𝟎𝟎, to see the imaginary animals of slotervaart, celebrate the opening and share the works that emerged from this collective process.

Asiana will offer a workshop on how to start a scene: the subtle gestures that signal a scene has begun, and how to build from there into what follows.

12:00 – 13:30
Workshop with Lokka
A self-tying workshop focused on engaging and using your whole body.

14:30 – 16:00
Workshop with Miss Mokum & Nova Caodie
This workshop invites you to explore how to use breath to embody, empower, and attune. It focuses on the power of breath and pressure as tools to enhance (rope) play and support your dynamic.
The practice centers on non-verbal communication, touch-based consent, and reading your partner’s body.
This workshop does not include neck rope, suffocation, or choking.

16:00 – 18:00 Silent Rope Jam
A space to practice what you learned during the workshops, connect with others, and improvise ties you enjoy. There will be time to choose partners and negotiate consent. After that, the space will shift into silence to experiment with non-verbal signals, touch, and sensation.

Here are the final performers: .shibari & Ray. They began their journey into visibility together through live rope drawing events. On Saturday, they will be tying together again.

The Amsterdam Mini Sh***ri festival is our attempt as a common room of a neighbourhood to increase the visibility of q***r/kinky programming in the Nieuw-West. We keep a certain number of community tickets for the neighbourhood q***rs so that they can come at discounted prices. Organising this event costs a lot, due to the fees of all facilitators, teachers and performers and the cost of building the space suitable for this festival. Hence we are aware of the expensive ticket prices. If you can not afford it and want to be in the space, write to us, and we will find possibilities, and state a very short motivation about yourself to: [email protected]
