Tijdens de 9e editie presenteren Fiber Festival en The Rest is Noise twee concerten rond een unieke ontmoeting op het snijvlak van muziek en technologie. Verwacht een spectaculaire uitvoering van 'Ways of [ ]' van audiovisueel kunstenaar Zeno van den Broek, uitgevoerd door vijf percussierobots en leden van slagwerkgroep HIIIT en Percussions de Strasbourg. Daarnaast brengt multidisciplinair kunstenaar Lyra Pramuk haar nieuwste album Hymnal (2025) tot leven in een eigenzinnige live performance.

BIMHUIS & The Rest is Noise present: Asher Gamedze with Another Time Ensemble

South African drummer and visionary Asher Gamedze returns with his shape-shifting band Another Time Ensemble. After turning heads at last year’s cutting-edge edition of Le Guess Who?, where the ensemble delivered a standout performance, Gamedze is now back at the festival, this time as a curator. Joining Gamedze are Alan Bishop (alto sax; co-founder of the trailblazing Sun City Girls), Maurice Louca (synthesizer), Adham Zidan (bass) and Sam Shalabi (guitar); a powerhouse lineup weaving jazz, experiment, and spiritual energy into a sonic journey unlike anything else.

Wat als je een industriële irrigatiemachine uit een Grieks dorp verplaatst naar een Amsterdamse concertzaal? Als bezoeker dwaal je vrij door het gebouw.
