My client showed me a photograph of his dog in front of an impressive Roman aqueduct and asked me to transform that memory into a unique tattoo. Using that image as inspiration, I created a custom composition that blends the boldness of American Traditional tattooing with fine lines and more realistic shading.

I love working this way: taking a meaningful reference and reinterpreting it into a tattoo that is strong, readable, and timeless.

Every project is different, and that’s exactly what makes this job so rewarding.

Red line tattoos have a delicate, elegant, and highly eye-catching aesthetic. However, it’s important to consider a few factors before getting one.

Red pigment, as well as colors like pink, green, and yellow, can behave differently depending on the skin. In some cases, it may cause slight sensitivity or mild allergic reactions. Additionally, these colors tend to heal softer, which means the final result may lose some intensity during the healing process.

For this reason, it is completely normal for these tattoos to require a touch-up once healed. This is not a flaw, but a common characteristic of how these pigments settle in the skin.

Despite this, I truly enjoy creating these tattoos because they look incredibly beautiful and unique. It’s simply important to have realistic expectations and understand that a second session will likely be needed to achieve the best final result.
