🎧🔊 Our team at THNDR is humbled and proud to have been a part of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2023 event! 🏎️🏁

We were tasked with creating an audio and sonic branding campaign that would capture the excitement and grandeur of this incredible event. Our approach focused on using tension and emotion to create a cinematic experience that would engage and captivate the audience.

Rather than relying on EDM beats, we drew inspiration from pit stop sounds, cinematic trailers and used a big major D chord as the sound logo. This chord captures the feeling of something bigger than yourself, just like the event itself.

We are thrilled with the results and the feedback we have received. It is an honor to have played a part in creating the sonic atmosphere that helped make the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2023 such an unforgettable experience. 🏎️🏆

We are excited to announce our latest endeavor - A trailer for the Wilson Airless Prototype basketball. This film was premiered during the 2023 NBA Dunk Contest and showcases the stunning visuals created by Woodwork . The film is comprised of two distinct sections - the buildup leading up to the unveiling of the new ball, followed by NBA player K.J. Martin's interaction with it.

The music and sound design were crafted using a unique amalgamation of sound sources, including samples of sand, helicopters, gravel, dirt, hard disc's, Moog synth bases and acoustic drums.
Additionally, we had the privilege of collaborating with the remarkably skilled rapper and artist Aristoteles, further enhancing the overall quality of the production.

asked us to work on the audio of their fresh new animation of adidas’ triple black collection! 🖤

We started by exploring with human vocals and drums. Started resampling and resampling, and ended up big organic drums combined with electronic instruments and emotional chords to guide you trough the journey of the triple black universe.

Every product got its own musical key, and product after product the sound is getting higher and more emotional until working towards the end and keep the excitement going. Rhythmic ASMR sounds are used to give you the feeling of being close by the products and connects the music more deeply to the animation.

Perfectly aligned with the Indian Summer we are experiencing in The Netherlands now, we are proud to present to you the second spot: Original Sin! Oh and fun fact: the VO's are yours truly 😉.

🍦 Huge news🍦Together with our amazing friends from Buda.tv (all the way from Argentina), we worked on the three newest Maxibon Italia spots. The immensely famous ice cream brand you’ll probably know from your sunny vacations, asked for one recognizable melody played by different instruments per spot, as well as one sound logo for each end.

As we've been eating Maxibon since we were kids, this was a very tasty project to sink our teeth in. There’s an Indian summer going on to The Netherlands this week, so we are heading to the ice cream parlor right now!

Therefore, most of the time we do full service projects - from working on a brief together with a brand, selecting, licensing or crafting the right sound track & sound design and casting & recording the right voice actor. Of course we'll top it off with the right mix & master.
