AI is coming for our beads. Apparently, it hasn’t forgotten what we said. 💀🤖

We told ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini they could generate images only of beaded jewelry, but couldn’t actually work with real beads. Like for real real (physically)!

Fast-forward to 2028. They’re looking for beads.

But here’s a more interesting question.

Even if AI could design and physically create its own beaded jewelry… would it ever want to wear it?

We wear jewelry to express ourselves. To make a statement. To remember someone. To challenge trends. Or simply because a particular combination of colours and materials feels right.

AI may learn how to make jewelry. But the reasons we choose to wear it? That’s where human creativity comes in.

Good design goes all the way to the ends.

Leather cord or wax cord with sculptural ceramic. Nylon cord with colourful glass. A necklace’s character comes from the connections as much as the beads.

These metal crimp ends fold around suitable cord and provide an attachment point for a clasp. Choose a size that fits your cord, and a finish that belongs with the rest of the piece.

Your neutrals could use a little company.

Raspberry pink, butter yellow and a flash of green meet deep plum, warm caramel and soft stone grey.
