2023 is a great year for an End of the Year comedy special. With the advent of ChatGPT and AI, the demand for real stories is louder than ever. With his eight End of the Year Comedy Special Wilko Terwijn promises to turn up the heat the year. His Dutch comedy specials appeared on TV and he was a regular player op the Dutch version of Who’s Line Is It Anyway. He is one of the head writers of the Dutch comedy central Roast’s en The Correspondent’s dinner. This scorching year is begging to be burned to the bone so we can start 2024 with a clean slate. The roast of 2023 promises to be on fire!

THIS WEEK Wednesday November 18th: Hermes Ahmadi in P60 Comedy Club

Hermes took the stage in 2018 and immediately hit it off: in no time, he was seen in the finals of many Dutch comedy festivals and was booked for many venues throughout the country. He decided to take his lively act to Belgium and Germany and left the rooms rolling on the floor. Now, he's touring with his show "You might be here", about being an Afghan refugee in a careless Europe. His sharp, cynical-yet-optimist sense of humor is not to be missed!

Ken has countless of gigs under his belt, including Glastonbury Festival, Cologne Comedy Festival, special guest at Musical Comedy Awards in London and a comedy sketch on the mainstage at a packed Paradiso. He is a headline act and has also opened for Ignacio Lopez, Marcel Lucont and Keith Farnan.

Ken is polyglot, so you can expect wonderfully absurd observations on languages, accents and human interactions, great comedy, political satire, legendary parody songs as well as zany head-trips, masterful misdirection, surreal dad-jokes and crafted one-liners. He wrote a thesis on storytelling in folklore so you can also expect punk parables and urban fairytales.
