𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐈 — 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭

We are proud to announce that The Weight of Light is now permanently on display at the Geosphere Ring inside the Evoluon, part of Next Nature Museum.

The Weight of Light is one of the stories we are building within FORMASI, our ongoing project exploring the deep relationship between man, ritual, and resources. We developed an interactive altar where physical effort becomes light. Energy made tangible, sacred, and earned: because what we take for granted every day is in reality a vast and complex system, one that deserves to be felt, not only consumed.

Seeing it installed and alive in this space after working on this project for over a year means a lot!

A huge shout out to Physical Matter for being essential to bringing this vision to life. Also huge thanks to the team of for their guidance throughout the process.

𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐲𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐫.

For the concept of the announcement video for Festival 26, we developed a 3D model of the radar tower, scanning the Amsterdam Forest, stages, and artists.

It was nice to dive deeper into the design and history of this monumental structure, which was placed in 1958 for Schiphol. Fun fact: the surrounding area of the tower was completely empty back then, but the trees slowly took over and didn’t quite stick to the agreement.

Even a later-added steel mast couldn’t keep the radar above the growing treetops. The new tower is now situated 7 km away, far from the forest.

The old tower will likely become a monument, absorbed by the forest and connected to the festival ground.

DEKMANTEL ’26

Through the eye of the radar.

Excited to share the announcement video we created for festival 2026. Big shout-out to the Dekmantel team for another amazing collaboration.

For this project we explored a wide range of techniques while developing this piece, including Gaussian Splatting in Octane, Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine, and E-ink. Special thanks to for developing the beta version of Gaussian Splatting for Cinema 4D, right on time!

We loved building this one and can’t wait for this edition, the lineup is massive.
