100% Interactive English shows and workshops for schools and colleges. Learning by doing can be much more effective and lots more fun than learning by watching!

The Phileas Fogg Theatre Company was started over 20 years ago, and has since become an integral part of the Dutch education system. We are proud to have made a well-earned name for ourselves within English departments and the bilingual education system across the Netherlands. We specialise in TIE (Theatre In Education) with a specific emphasis on English as a foreign language, and a firm belief in Learning through Doing. Native English-speaking actors perform and run the company. We understand that to build students’ confidence in using a second language, they have to experience it actively. Many theatre companies offer a wonderful performance - but if ALL you want is a wonderful performance, a DVD can offer just that, and will save you a fortune. We pride ourselves on providing not only a wonderful performance, but also an unforgettable interactive experience!

We’re so proud to continue supporting our very own Sasha as she prepares for the Miss Great Britain National Final this October! 👑✨

Alongside representing Middlesbrough, Sasha is using her platform to raise awareness and funds for Cancer Research UK, Alex’s Wish, and A-Sisterhood, while also championing greater opportunities for working-class women in the arts and supporting regional fringe theatre.

We can’t wait to see everything she achieves and will be cheering her on 💙

As the school year comes to a close, we’re reflecting on another fantastic year of educating and inspiring students through interactive theatre 🎭✨

The North region finished the academic year on the 10th of July, the Central region (yesterday) the 17th of July, and now it’s just the South region left to finish on the 24th of July.

Although our tour came to an end on the 28th of May, we’d like to say another big thank you to all of the colleges, teachers, parents and incredible students who welcomed us this year.

By combining language, history, theatre and creativity, watching students grow in confidence both in their English ability and on a personal level is what makes every tour so special 💙

Don’t forget to save the date for our next tour, beginning the 21st of September 2026! We can’t wait to hit the road again and create even more memorable experiences 🚙

Until then, we wish everyone a happy and relaxing summer holiday ☀️
