Patterns Studio is a studio space focused on channeling creativity and take your ideas in reality. The studio emerged in 2020 and is based in the flourishing city of Almere. The development of the studio took us roughly two years. All the acoustic panels, studio desk and cabinets are made of mostly upcycled materials, which give the studio its natural look and feel. Using a hybrid setup gives the

studio a lot of versatility. Utilizing analogue equipment for that extra warmth or getting in the digital domain for precise sound engineering. Our goal is to pursuit the needs of our clients and deliver an outstanding final product ready for the world to hear!

After some moments of silence we had some huge improvements to our studio space.

Our desk has been modified by . It’s a bit higher and there are some rackspaces created next to the mixing desk.

We finished the cloud absorption/reflecting panel above with absorption material.

Also a temporary speaker upgrade which needed custom made speaker stands. Also by help of the very creative hands by !

And last we added absorption panels with LED strips at the back on the sides of the studio space.

New recording session at our studio with Theo Lublink 🔴🎙🎚

Laying down the first guitar parts on his track ‘Public Transportation’, implementing some vintage gear. We’re using the Yamaha Integrated Mixer EM series model 100 II and the Yamaha E1005 delay, beefing it up with the Aphex Aural Exciter. 💪🏼

For some reason, newcomers to electronic music have many questions about sound compression. This plugin is designed to flatten the dynamic range and in my experience in electronic music this is rare.

If you want to change the sound of the instrument, I would advise you to use a saturator, distortion, phase modulation, equalizer or even a volume shaper, and not try to do it with a compressor.
