Een nieuw ontwerp, maar wel met bekende elementen. En zoals altijd was ik op zoek naar harmonie en balans...
Een simpele cirkel, onderbroken door de organische vormen en de negatieve ruimte daartussen.
Een tactiel kunstwerk gemaakt van wol en zijde, zacht om aan te raken, maar met een design dat doet denken aan steen.
Het combineert schoonheid en functionaliteit, het straalt niet alleen rust en stilte uit, door het design en kleurgebruik, maar door de geluidsabsorberende kwaliteit van de wol dempt het ook het geluid in de ruimte.
Een wandsculptuur dat het gevoel vertaald wat ik altijd krijg als ik in mijn atelier iets aan het maken ben.
Mijn atelier is de plek waar mijn hoofd rustig word, waar ik mijn eigen ritme kies en ik de tijd neem om mijn gedachten de vrije loop te laten. En wanneer mijn hoofd rustig is en ik luister en voel naar dat wat in me zit, volgen mijn handen als vanzelf...

A new design with familiar elements. And as always in search of harmony and balance....
A simple circle, interrupted, by the organic shapes of the pebbles and the negative space between them. A tactile artwork created from wool and silk, soft to touch, in contrast to the solid look of stone.
Blending form and function, inviting a sense of stillness and calm into the space, through design and the sound absorbing qualities of the wool.
A translated sense of calm and peacefulness, a state of being I find myself in when I create my artworks.
My studio is the place where I quiet my mind, choose my own rhythm and take the time to let my mind wander. And when my mind is clear and I start to listen to that inspired voice within my hands will follow and start creating.
