Peter Francis, known by his stage name Skofflaw, was born in 1995 in Adamawa State, Nigeria. He hails from the Laka tribe, known for its rich cultural heritage. Skofflaw discovered his passion for music in 2014 and embarked on a journey that would define his artistic career.

Growing up in Yola, the capital city of Adamawa State, Skofflaw completed his secondary education at General Murtala Muhammed College Yola (GMMC Yola). Afterward, he pursued higher education at Adamawa State Polytechnic, Yola, where he graduated in 2020.

Skofflaw's musical style is influenced by his upbringing in Adamawa State, blending traditional rhythms with contemporary sounds. His lyrics often reflect personal experiences and societal issues, resonating with audiences across Nigeria and beyond.

Throughout his career, Skofflaw has collaborated with various artists, honing his craft and expanding his musical repertoire. His dedication to his artistry and commitment to authenticity have earned him a growing fan base and respect within the Nigerian music industry.
