OFFICIAL NOTICE OF RESCHEDULING – GIDIGBA 2026
We are pleased to inform all partners, stakeholders, participants, and the general public that GIDIGBA 2026, the fourth edition of the Warri Arts Festival International (WAFI), has been officially rescheduled.
This decision was made in response to the overwhelming interest and growing participation from within and outside Delta State. In our commitment to delivering a bigger, more impactful, and well-coordinated festival experience, we have adjusted the event dates accordingly.
New Dates: August 26th – 30th, 2026
Theme: Stronger Together
GIDIGBA 2026 will continue to serve as a dynamic platform for engagement, exchange, expression, exploration and development, bringing together over 1,000 participants, institutions, and stakeholders across .

The organizing committee of Warri Arts Festival International (WAFI) – GIDIGBA 2026, themed “STRONGER TOGETHER”, wishes to formally inform all partners, participants, stakeholders, schools, universities, and the general public that the previously scheduled dates for the festival have been rescheduled.
This decision was made to ensure improved coordination, stronger participation, and a more impactful delivery of the festival experience.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your continued support, patience, and understanding as we work to deliver a more memorable and impactful edition of WAFI GIDIGBA 2026
