We are hosting the second edition of "The Future Of Music" competition. This edition is focused on the gospel genre of music, and it starts this August and ends in December.

The competition is aimed at showcasing and promoting wonderful gospel music talents to the world.

The competition is in four stages. Uploading a video of you singing on Instagram and then an online and physical audition followed by the semi-final stage which is a physical audition and the final.

The winner goes home with one Hundred Thousand Naira ( #100,000), The First Runner Up goes home with Fifty Thousand Naira ( #50,000), While the second runner up goes home with the sum of Thirty Thousand Naira (30,000).

You might not have heard about royalty split or split sheet, but not to worry this is an agreement executed by contributors to a song, detailing the personal information of the contributors and stating their ownership percentage in the song. Or in other words, this how everyone who contributed to a song knows how much get to them.

Most artists do not pay attention to things likes this and it ends up as an issue later in their career, or when a particular song becomes a hit.

Most artists don't get royalty payments because labels take back what was used in promoting an artist from the artist's royalties. If an artist got a lot of advance pay when being signed, the less royalty he eventually gets from his music. 💛
