For a long time, non-biodegradable waste products have been destroying our climate and our environment! While many worsen this problem through improper waste management, Esther Ubak II turns the problem into a solution through creative waste upcycling.
I've watched her for a while now, and how powerful and captivating her story is! Every day, out of the 99% of waste that destroys the environment, she converts it into art and craft products that in turn beautify her environment. I'm glad to amplify her climate change story and voice through my art as a spoken word artist for the 'Her Climate Voice' social media challenge by Today For Tomorrow Initiative -TFT

Not every girl has the privilege of sitting in a classroom. While many of us assume girls are in school in today's developed world, the reality is painfully different for millions around the world.
The current state of girls' education in Afghanistan is a heartbreaking reminder that the fight for every girl's right to learn is far from over.
This spoken word piece is my call for the education of every girl—especially African girls—and a firm stand against the chains of child marriage.

As I mentioned in one of my lines, organizations such as Malala Fund UNICEF and many others are making meaningful strides to advance girls' education across the world. As a girl child advocate, I strongly stand with these efforts.
No matter the tribe, culture, or tradition, no girl should be denied an education and forced into child marriage.

Every girl deserves a pen before a wedding ring.

From age 5, my passion for teaching was so great to a point that I taught an empty room after school. I remember flogging the floor as my students😂😩

As I grow, the passion still seats somewhere in me but the reality of teaching in my nation keeps it inside.

But guess who was called to teach? Me
My spoken word talent opened up that gift the past weeks and who I'm I to say No!
Learning and growing with these kids the past weeks has opened up a deeper passion I thought I had lost.

Children whose parents were teachers are still waiting!
The news is no longer trending! But this nation is bleeding!
This is call to our government, all citizens and the nation at large!
Insecurity has to go indeed!
