ABOUT ME!
Writing is therapy. Writing about myself? That's a complete healing for me!
My name is Esther Solomon Jackson, a young Nigerian woman born into a family of five from the Southern part of Nigeria, Akwa Ibom State.
I was blessed with a wonderful childhood and teenage years, guided by parents who instilled strong moral values. You could say I was groomed by the best.
I’m currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts at the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, and I’m in my finals.
ACADEMIC JOURNEY
As the saying goes, “Life is not a bed of roses.” Growing up under the warm and protective arms of my parents made things a lot easier, but now here we are—adulthood!
I see adulthood as a completely different world, one I’m still learning to navigate. But despite its challenges, it's an amazing journey that I would love to explore the more.
I began as a passionate and committed art student, fueled by a burning desire to become a lawyer. I took the JAMB exam three times but couldn’t secure admission to study law. Not one to give up easily, I enrolled in a diploma program in law, but the path still didn’t lead where I had hoped.
Finally, I decided to pursue something that I genuinely enjoyed—Communication Arts. I’ve always loved public speaking, presentations, debates, and writing, and it turned out that Communication Arts was exactly where I was meant to be.
WHY FACEBOOK
My desire to write has been there since high school days, and it just keeps growing. Looking back, I remember writing short stories that never got published. I would dance around the house every time I completed a story or when my drama script was used in school or church.
I am inspired to start documenting my journey here in order to grow and establish meaning relationships with the large audience present here. I am also excited to contribute my voice to the world through writing 😄
IN CONCLUSION
Life is worth living! It may not be easy at first, but with hard work, determination and prayers, you will pull through.
I invite you to follow my journey. Let’s make the world a better place together.
