FRIENDS NITE IN HONOUR OF SIR WILKER JACKSON TO HOLD ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 24TH

The people of Akwa Ibom are set to bid farewell to one of their own, legendary highlife musician, Sir Wilker Jackson, at a special tribute night, Friends Nite, happening on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at St. Dominic Primary School, Mbak Etoi, Uyo.

The event, organized by Mr. David Sergeant, Senior Special Assistant on Entertainment to the Governor, promises an evening of music, laughter, and memories with some of the state's finest entertainers.

Sir Wilker Jackson, who recently passed away, leaves behind a legacy of contributions to music, talent development, and community service. His leadership roles in Etoi Clan and the entertainment community showcased his dedication to family and the arts.

The tribute night is expected to be a celebration of his life and legacy, with performances by top Akwa Ibom entertainers.
