THE NIGHT THE BANDIT CHICKENS RETURNED – PART 2

The whole village stayed awake after hearing about the mysterious Black Feather Bandits.

Everyone locked their doors.

Everyone hid their food.

Except one man…

Chief Butcher Bako.

He laughed at the rumors.

“Na ordinary chickens,” he said. “Make dem come. I go show dem who be king.”

That night, around 1:43 a.m., strange sounds came from his compound.

“Kok… kok… kok…”

Not the normal kind.

This one sounded like soldiers giving commands.

Villagers peeped through their windows and saw shadows of black-clothed chickens jumping over Bako’s fence.

One stood at the gate as security.

Another climbed onto the roof.

The leader kicked open the chicken coop.

“Operation Save Our Brothers… GO! GO! GO!”

The bandit chickens marched inside like trained commandos.

Instead of stealing food, they began freeing every chicken locked in cages.

Some chickens flew over the fence.

Some ran through the backyard.

Others attacked sacks of chicken feed and scattered it everywhere.

Chief Bako woke up and grabbed his cutlass.

“You thieves!”

Before he could take two steps…

One ninja chicken flapped its wings into his face.

Another pecked his slippers off.

The leader jumped onto a drum and crowed loudly.

“Freedom for all chickens!”

The whole compound became chaos.

Feathers filled the air.

Roosters chased the butcher.

Hens jumped onto his shoulders.

Even the village cat refused to enter the compound.

By sunrise…

The bandit chickens had disappeared.

Every cage was broken.

Not a single chicken remained.

The villagers gathered to see what had happened.

That was when someone noticed the sign hanging outside the compound.

It read:

“BAKO FRESH CHICKEN MEAT – We Slaughter Chickens Daily.”

The crowd fell silent.

Then an old woman burst into laughter.

“So all this time,” she said, wiping tears from her eyes, “the bandit chickens were not robbers… they came on a rescue mission!”

The whole village exploded with laughter.

From that day on, nobody called them bandits anymore.

They became known as…

The Chicken Liberation Army. 🐔🥷

🐔🌙 THE NIGHT THE BANDIT CHICKENS STORMED OUR VILLAGE

Nobody believed old Papa Jide when he said he heard footsteps on the rooftops at exactly 2:17 a.m.

“Dem no be human,” he whispered. “Na chickens… but dem dey move like trained bandits.”

Everybody laughed.

Then it happened.

Out of nowhere, two mysterious chickens dressed in black ninja outfits jumped over the village fence. Each one carried tiny swords on their backs and sharp throwing stars tied to their sides. They moved without making a sound.

One stood on top of the fence as the lookout.

The other quietly entered people’s compounds.

Before anyone could react…

“Kokorokooo… Operation Corn Storm begins!”

Within minutes, bags of maize disappeared, cooked rice vanished from pots, and one old woman claimed her fried fish had “grown legs and walked away.”

Even the village dog refused to bark. It saw the chickens, tucked its tail, and pretended to be asleep.

A brave hunter tried to chase them, but one of the bandit chickens threw a handful of sand into his eyes and escaped with three eggs and a loaf of bread.

As they were leaving, the leader turned back, flapped his wings, and dropped a warning feather with a message:

“We shall return… next market day. Keep your corn ready.”

By sunrise, the whole village gathered in the square.

No one knew where the chickens came from.

No one knew where they went.

But one thing was certain…

These were not ordinary chickens.

These were The Black Feather Bandits.

And from that day on, whenever a chicken crowed at midnight, every villager locked their doors, hid their food, and prayed that the legendary bandit chickens would choose another village. 🐔🥷🌙
