URHOBO ARTS AND CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT: ESOBITO GROUP PAYS SOLIDARITY VISIT TO URHOBOWOOD INTERNATIONAL, REDEEM PLEDGE.

As part of measures to develop the Urhobo Arts and Culture, a renowned Non Governmental Organization ( NGO), Esobito Halawani Foundation Canada, founded and chaired by Olorogun Onoriode Esobito-Ineh on the 30th of January, 2021, paid a solidarity visit to a Pan - Urhobo Cultural Organization, Urhobowood International founded by Dr. Joseph Udusan Orekereke at it's headquarter located at Plot 1 Orubu Street, Ughelli Delta state.
The Esobito Halawani Foundation Nigeria delegations was led by Comrade Precious Igho Otabomwovo who is the Special Personal Assistant to the Chairman, Esobito Halawani Foundation

The visiting Organization also had in it's delegation, Odesiri Onisuru, who is Special Assistant, Domestic Affairs to Esobito Foundation
While speaking on behalf of Esobito Halawani Foundation, Comrade Precious Igho said the aim of the visit was to redeem the pledge that they made during the just concluded Urhobo Arts and Cultural Advancement Award (UACAA) held in December 2020, as well as brainstorm with Urhobowood on ways through which both Organizations can work together to further strengthen their friendship bonds as well as develop the Urhobo Arts and Culture for the aim of positively repositioning of Urhobo Nation into it's rightful place among other ethnic nationalities and helping the society.
Comrade Igho Precious stated that he conveyed greetings to Urhobowood from the chairman of the Foundation, Olorogun Onoriode Esobito-Ineh whom he said is impressed with the continous works of Urhobowood aimed at developing Urhobo Arts and Culture.
The group used the visit as an opportunity to intimate Urhobowood of the various things that Esobito Foundation in Canada and all over the world has done towards the development of the society and ended by stating that it the wish of the Foundation to join hands with Urhobowood to develop the Urhobo Arts and Culture.
While responding, the Lord Mayor of Urhobowood International, Cheif Amb (Dr.) Joseph Udusan Orekereke appreciated the delegation from Esobito Foundation for the visit. He stated that Urhobowood is happy to receive Esobito Foundation whom he discribed as a great organization that has helped in the upliftment of numerous lives. He thanked the Foundation most especially it's founder, Olorogun Onoriode Esobito-ineh in Canada for the noble gesture of redeeming the pledge they made during the last UACA Award 2020 and declared that the redemption of the pledge is an indication that indeed, Esobito Foundation is a reputable organization world wide.
The visit afforded both Organizations the opportunity to brainstorm and come out with concrete arrangements on programs and activites that would be jointly organized by both Organizations for the promotion, projection, preservation, growth and development of Urhobo Arts and Culture in the future.
These programs and activites as agreed by both Organizations would be unvieled by both Organizations to the public in due course.
The Urhobowood delegation that received the Esobito Foundation members was led by Urhobowood International lordmayor, Dr. Joseph Udusan Orekereke and had in it, Urhobowood International Director of Media and Publicity, Comrade Ibebe Rufus Akpobome.
