Perched upon a weathered stone,
With hands that cradle time unknown,
He bears the weight of fleeting years—
A silent guardian of joys and fears.

The trees behind him gently sway,
Yet time slips by, then drifts away.
The ticking hands will never wait,
For none can twist or halt their fate.

In faded jeans and dust-worn shoes,
He ponders time’s elusive ruse—
How youth will bloom, then fade to gray,
How moments rise, then slip away.

Yet in his grasp, time does not stray,
Nor lost to past, nor chained to fray.
For life is now—a burning light,
A whisper brief, yet shining bright.
