An Untold African story that no one talks about is the fact that growing up as a black girl, there were certain protective hairstyles that we would cry to our parents not to make us do because we considered them old school and unnecessarily painful. Now, those hairstyles are considered a thing of pride and glorified by every black girl or woman. They have become our identity as Africans.

Nostalgia is about a little girl who loved to pick up these little flowers on her way back from primary school, even if they'd die eventually, with her "kiko" hair that she can't wait to loosen by weekend. Now she's grown and embracing it all, and all she can do is reminisce on the good old days

First off... Happy New Year, guys✨️

I know I haven't shared anything in a while... It's going to be like that for a while becos right now I'm in what I'd call a learning phase.

I'm trying to learn new things and perfect what I'm already good at so that I can show you what I'm made off 😉😌
