PILGRIMAGE TO ILE IFE
Araba Fasola and our team at the Ancestral Pride Temple are undertaking the annual pilgrimage to the sacred City of Ile Ife, Openifa Sacred Palm Tree, the Ooni's Palace, and Orisha Shrines on Saturday, the 7th of June 2025 for the World IFA Festival, in celebration of Yoruba New Year 10,067, Orunmila's Birthday and the much-awaited ODU IFA AGBAYE (consultation of the Ifa Oracle and rituals for the 2025-2026 period).

SHRINES & PRAYERS
The pilgrimage includes prayers at the shrines or sacred locations where the Orisa entered the earth, such as: Esu Ilare, Oke Mogun, Aje Shrine for wealth and Oke Igeti (Orunmila's stronghold and shrine).

*Resolution of the International Council for Ifa Religion's Congress Meeting*

The International Council for Ifa Religion (ICIR) held its Annual Congress meeting on Saturday, April 26th, at Ile IFA Agbaye, Òkè-Ìtasẹ̀, Ilé-Ifẹ̀, Osun state, Nigeria.

The meeting was attended by representatives of Council of Àràbà/Oluwo, representatives from various Ile Ijuba (Worship Centers) and State Chapters. After deliberation, the following resolutions were adopted:

Resolutions
1. *Annual Ifa Festival Grand Finale*: Though Aisun Olọ́jà will take place on June 2nd at the Palace of Oonirisa and Oke Igeti will be visited on Friday, 6th June, the grand finale of the 2025 Annual World Ifa Festival shall be held on Saturday, June 7th, at Oke-Itase. All Ile Ijuba are encouraged to arrive early for:
- End-of-year general worship at the World Ifa Temple in Oke-Itase.
- First service/worship of the year on Sunday at Ooni's Palace in Ife, where all temples are expected to be represented.
2. *Membership Registration*: Every Ifa and Orisa practitioner shall purchase:
- Certificate and ID card
- Affiliation certificate form
Diaspora members shall contact the executive for form payment, as prices differ due to logistical considerations.
3. *Requirements for ID Card and Certificate*: To obtain an ID card and certificate or affiliation certificate, members must provide three witnesses:
- Senior priest of their temple (ICIR member).
- Araba or Oluwo of their town (ICIR member).
- Vice Chairman or executive member of ICIR representing their state.
4. *Constitutional Review*: A committee has been established to review our constitution and propose necessary amendments to ensure alignment with current needs and best practices.
5. *Scripture Committee*: A committee, comprising the President, General Secretary of the Council, and other appointed members, shall compile a unified Odu Ifa book, acceptable to all members globally. The committee shall:
- Conduct research and consultations.
- Compile and authenticate Odu Ifa texts.
- Present the final draft for approval.
6. *State Inaugurations*: Each state chapter of ICIR shall schedule its inauguration ceremony after the World Ifa Festival, ensuring representation from all regions.
7. *Diaspora Representation*: Our Diaspora Representatives will be announced soon, ensuring inclusive participation and representation of Ifa practitioners worldwide.

Implementation
All resolutions shall take effect immediately. Relevant committees shall be established, and tasks assigned to ensure timely implementation.

- *Unify Members*: Strengthen our community through shared events and registration.
- *Ensure Authenticity*: Verify member identities through witness requirements.
- *Promote Unity*: Develop a unified Odu Ifa book and review our constitution.
- *Global Inclusion*: Engage Ifa practitioners worldwide through diaspora representation.

Conclusion
The Congress meeting reaffirms our commitment to unity, growth, and preservation of Ifa traditions. We look forward to successful implementation and collaboration.
