What happens when young people are trapped by circumstances beyond their control? What happens when freedom becomes a luxury and hope becomes a struggle?

AUGUST INMATES is coming to the stage — and this is not just another theatre production. It is a gripping theatrical experience that explores freedom, confinement, struggle, identity and the human desire to break free.

Written by Chidubem Iweka and directed by Alaibi Nnana Joseph, presented by Greenroom Theatre Production in collaboration with the Department of Theatre and Film Studies, Uniport.
